What? |
In
addition to producing commissioned artwork (designs, illustrations,
signage, murals, and fabrications) for various businesses and
individuals, I also create original paintings, prints, sculptures,
and graphics for sale to the general public. I have shown and
sold original oil paintings, sculptures, limited edition prints,
posters, and other objects through a variety of venues in and
around the Washington DC, Annapolis & Baltimore metro areas.

When? |
A
Brief History: After earning
an A.A. from Prince Georges Community College in 1984, I worked
as a Technical Illustrator (Secret Clearance) for DOD contractors
before going back to school to earn a B.A. from the University
of Maryland, College Park in 1988. I worked my way through college
as a freelance illustrator / carpenter / muralist / scenic painter
/ signmaker / sculptor / modelmaker / designer, etc. in a variety
of shops until founding my own business,
daybreak studios in 1990.
Although basically a one-man operation, I've been privileged with
the ability to call on some serious talent from throughout the
Mid-Atlantic region when I've needed the help and /or the work!
Thanks Again!
