Osprey sculpture
(Commissioned as a Gift to Saint Mary's College)

This sculpture was commissioned by Todd Purring and the St. Mary's College Class of 1986 to be presented as a gift to the College's new River Center building in St. Mary's City, Maryland. Along with the pics of the sculpture are pics of me with the patron and members of the staff at the college. What a beautiful campus and a great group of folks!

The sculpture (approx. 32" x 14" x 14") is comprised of a solid urethane cast with glass eyes, painted with vinyl-acrylics, wood, steel, sand, shells and other polymers. The piece has since been relocated, but at the time I designed, built and installed the corner shelf as well.
